HELLO POLY! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wendy and I am from Canada! I was born and raised in Toronto, although I have been traveling all around the world within the past few years. So far, South Korea is my 22nd country that I have been to. I love to: explore new cultures and environments, meet new people, eat, cook, stay active and learn new things about the world! Back in 2015, I graduated with honours from McMaster University, situated in Ontario, with a Bachelor's degree of Arts majoring in Labour Studies. My professional experience with children includes being a live in au pair for a lovely Australian family for 6 months, private tutoring, and recently having completed a term working for an online ESL tutoring company. Within my years of experience, I have created lifelong lasting bonds with my students. It is an absolute privilege to be able to influence the minds of the youth, and I intend to inspire each and every student. Words can't describe my excitement to have the opportunity of teaching the amazing students at Poly in the lovely city of Jeonju! I look forward to meeting you all.

Hello, my name is Ryan David and I am very excited to be teaching here at POLY Jeonju. I grew up in Austin, Texas and attended the University of North Texas. There I developed a love for the English language and received my degree with a major in English Literature and a minor in Social Sciences. Outside of the classroom, I enjoyed playing soccer, reading, and writing my own stories. Throughout my college years, I started to understand the importance of teaching English as a second language. I'm so happy to be here teaching my native language to all the gifted students here at POLY.

I'm also a big fan of sports and like watching NBA basketball. I can't wait to experience this new culture in Korea and teach students my native language of English.
